Worship
Are you interested in opportunities to serve or get involved in a fun, exciting ministry?

Children’s Programs
Are you interested in opportunities to serve or get involved in a fun, exciting ministry? Do you have a love for kids, crafts, food and fun?
- Teach a Sunday morning class.
- Lead a Wednesday evening kid’s club group in crafts, music, games and lessons.
- Planning and decorating for special events.

Nursery Service
Providing a comfortable worship opportunity is very important. And something we want to provide for our new parents and guests at Elim.
Elim is proud to provide nursery services for infants and toddlers.

Ushers
The worship service is an important part of the Elim ministry and would not be possible without the many servant hearts who oversee the service and worship time.
Teams of three or four individuals serve at the sanctuary doors, handing out worship folders and assisting with seating. The ushers also collect the offering during each service and remove the attendance sheets from the maroon folders. Ushers are alert during each service for needs that may arise in the congregation. They serve at either the 9:30 or 11:15 service and are scheduled for one Sunday per month.
Greeter
Because helping new friends and visitors feel welcome at Elim is so important, we want them to feel the warmth and love present at Elim the minute they enter the doors. Therefore, greeter teams of two individuals welcome attendees in the foyer. A team is responsible for both the 9:30 and 11:15 service; and teams are assigned one Sunday per month.
Sound Technician
The age of technology brings many blessings and challenges to each worship service at Elim. Two individuals are found at the sound board about one hour before the 9:30 service. They are responsible for setting up the necessary equipment on the platform, doing sound checks during rehearsal, monitoring sound levels during the services, and running any video presentations. Training for this ministry is necessary and will be provided.
Power Point Technician
Being able to lift our voices and our hands to the Lord has become so much easier with technology. The words to music not contained in the hymnals, are presented on the large white screen in the front of the sanctuary. The technicians prepare the Power Point, music slides and are seated at the computer during each service.
Vocal Team
Hymns have been a tradition for generations as a blessing for those worshiping our Lord. This blessing of music is supported by a vocal team that leads the congregational music at the 9:30 blended service. They rehearse each Saturday morning for an hour and spend time together in prayer after rehearsal.
Instrumental Team
New traditions in how we worship are forming with each generation. New and different instruments are continually being used to support our time of worship.
An instrumental team provides this musical base for the 11:15 modern service. Their rehearsal is scheduled week-to-week as different musicians participate.
Hospitality
Consider using your gifts of service with the many opportunities to celebrate our family at Elim. Preparing for the many events and outreached can be so rewarding for those who enjoy cooking, gardening or serving others.
Communion Preparation
Elim observes the Lord’s Supper the first Sunday of the month and a few special times during the year. Communion is prepared the day before; set up in the sanctuary just before each service; and cleaned up after the 11:15 worship service.
Daycare
Elim Christian Learning Center provides quality daycare in a nurturing and Christian setting. Children have the opportunity to grow, learn, and explore through a variety of daily activities, including group play, story time, age-appropriate lessons, field trips and more. The staff is dedicated to providing quality teaching and direction, seeking to help kids learn how each child learns best.
Ages provided: Newborns – preschool
Hours of operation: 6:30 am – 6:00 pm
