Zach is a graduate of Bethel University where he learned about the importance of discipleship and how to practically join God on mission in the work He is doing in and through youth.
He interned at Roseville Covenant Church, first as a youth ministry student intern, then as a part time employee serving as the interim youth director.
He learned how to balance fun with deeper conversations and questions surrounding faith in the lives of youth.
He also developed his ability to support and encourage youth while challenging them in order to build a community that spurs one another on and cares about each other’s relationship with Jesus Christ all while sharing the Good News of the Gospel with the world around them.
Along with those experiences, in his six months as a residential counselor at Bar None, he also learned how to successfully care for, relate to, and equip diverse groups of youth in a small group and individual settings. These experiences have strengthened and confirmed his call to full time ministry.
He is committed to continuous learning and growth in his own spiritual journey so that he may live his life as an example and be able to serve and nurture the spiritual lives of the Elim Baptist Church community and the greater surrounding community.
